To coincide with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s serach for a new Dorothy, The Brickhouse cocktail bar and supper-club is currently hosting its own Wizard of Oz themed night with a four course menu and a show spectacular full of lions and tigers and bears!

The venue itself has been transformed into munchkin land, with its own yellow brick road and giant lollipop covered walls. And if you just happen to have a pair of ruby slippers in your wardrobe – wear ‘em because you’ll get a free glass of champagne when you arrive. If you have no ruby footwear to your name – grab an Oz cocktail from the ground floor bar (we like the sound of the vivid green Emerald City-tini or the Tequila Tornado).

A four course themed menu is available for £35 designed by Head Chef Matthew Reuther which you can eat while watching a cabaret show of burlesque beauties, comedic songsters and circus stars.

Alternatively, on the top mezzanine floor, you can recline on beds while watching the original 1939 version of the Wizard of Oz film with Judy Garland, served by staff dressed as Cowardly Lions, Tin Men and Scarecrows.

And if you get a bit jealous of the outfits, there is a dressing-up box available where you can become Dorothy in gingham or the Wicked Witch of the West. Oh My!

Wizard of Oz themed night at the Brickhouse ends Saturday 1st May.
