Hailing from Belfast, Not Squares have perfected that type of ESG meeting Q and Not U indie dance that you used to go nuts to back in your third year of uni. Marrying out-there yelps, bizarre lyrics, berserk drums, liquid bass lines and brightly coloured t-shirts to a sense of pop timing reminiscent of XTC, if you don’t at least nod your head to the jerky grooves these guys pump out, then you’re officially dead.
Oh yeah, check out the dancing in this video – that was pretty much what our office Christmas party looked like.
