Free: it’s worth every penny

Of late, we at Spoonfed have been knocking around an idea for a new sit-com. It’s going to be called Shut That Bloody Door (accompanying exclamation mark to be confirmed). It revolves around a down-at-heel, salt-of-the-earth, generic northern family sitting in their living room. Every episode, somebody leaves the door open, leading to the cry of, that’s right, “Shut That Bloody Door!”

The second series would include some celebrity cameos, where, to general hilarity, it’s the celebrity who leaves the door open. Before filming of the third series starts, we get a call from Steven Seagal’s agent. Seagal apparently wants to make an appearance. He demands, however, that it is he who gets to say “Shut That Bloody Door!” Negotiations deteriorate rapidly.

One of the show’s other catchphrases would be “Free: it’s worth every penny”. Which is why Spoonfed makes it easy to find free things to do in London. Just click on the pink bit you’ve just read.

Have a lovely life people, and remember, “Shut that bloody door!”
