Field Day Weekend

Submitted by Dom on Friday, 8 August 2008One Comment

We’re going to be off this weekend to the Field Day festival at Victoria Park which should be absolutely brilliant.  One thing we’re quite excited to see is the MySpace bus which has been touring the UK hitting up the major festivals and offering the chance for fans to see bands play an exclusive set in the bus.  We’ve got the entire lineup for the MySpace Field Day bus on the site so swing over and take a look.  We’ve been told it’s first come first serve for who gets to check out the exclusive acts so we’ll be there bright and early (to elbow our way in to join the lucky few who got VIP bracelets).

The one bit of bad news we’ve heard through the rumour mill is that Dan Deacon will NOT be playing Field Day as he’s had his passport stolen this morning.  I’m sure someone tried to explain to the authorities that he has a very important festival to attend but it seems that this just wasn’t enough.

The rest of the lineup is solid and confirmed, however, so as long as the weather cooperates, we’re in for a fantastic weekend.  See you there!
